Gardaí are investigating a break-in to a shop in Omeath on Sunday night. The incident occurred at a barber shop in the village at around midnight. A number of homes and businesses on the R173 road between Omeath and Carlingford are without power at present due to a fault. Around 12 customers are said to be impacted by the outage.
